A deep-dive of two days into Sicilian gastronomy with the Anna Tasca Lanza cooking school.
We will accompany you through the signature dishes of Sicilian cuisine and you will experience first-hand the production and use of sheep-milk cheeses and ricotta in the kitchen. Ricotta is a symbol of Sicily and the key ingredient of our best known and most popular desserts, such as cassata and cannoli. Yet not all ricotta is the same, and many factors, from the pasture to the shepherd's touch, affect the final taste. In these two days we will share curiosity and conviviality around the table and in the kitchen, values ​​that are still well preserved in our gastronomic culture.

Fabrizia Lanza, daughter of the founder Anna, runs the center ANNA TASCA LANZA. Her love for traditional culinary heritage, biodiversity, and rural know-how has led her to expand from cooking school to field-to-fork research center on food systems. Fabrizia, like her mother, feels called to harness the power of food culture in the rural heart of Sicily.
